This Saturday brought another exciting installment of championship bocce to our beloved Lower Providence Bocce League. Wednesday night saw Average Joe’s dominate their competition and the Ball Busters once again displayed their championship pedigree by leaving only a trail of broken dreams for all the rest of Thursday night to enjoy. The title match pitted two fierce rivals against each other, Average Joe’s and the Ball Busters, but only one team emerged victorious…the Ball Busters!!!
The league has lost count as to how many titles the Ball Busters have, but it’s probably in the thousands by now. It doesn’t matter who the competition is, or how many beverages their team has shotgunned before the title match, they continue to roll with the finesse, skill, and determination of true champions! The Average Joe’s put on a skillful showing themselves, rolling all the way from the 9th seed into the finals, but the Ball Busters proved to be too much to handle. Congrats to the Champs!
Thank you all once again for a great fall season. The banquet will be held at Raven’s Claw Golf Club in Limerick, PA on Saturday, November 13, from 1-4 pm.
