This Saturday was another fantastic edition of Championship bocce in a sunny LPT. Twelve teams showed up hoping their bocce balls rolled true enough to capture the title and coveted trophy. However, once the dust settled from the intense competition only one team remained standing…The Big Labocce!!

Congratulations to the boys from The Big Labocce as they had a fantastic season. They finished in 1st place for the regular season for Wednesday night and kept the momentum going as they rolled splendidly all the way through the playoffs to capture the Championship title. Their blend of skill, teamwork, and determination combined for a dominant Summer 2025 performance. Beverage in hand + Eye on the Pallina = Championship Glory. Well done!

Congratulations to the Bocce Bagger Bunch who ended up being the victors for Thursday night and making it all the way to the title match. They showed that they were not intimidated on their first ticket to the big dance and that they are a force to be reckoned with from here on out. They fought valiantly against The Big Labocce, but in the end there can only be one winner…

Thanks to everyone for another great season. I’ll have the Fall Schedule out in the next week or so. We’re going to start after Labor Day and try to end in the beginning of November, as of now. That will require us to double up some weeks with Tuesday matches and your regular night matches. Stay tuned. I hope everyone has a great and safe summer and we’ll be rolling again soon enough!
