This past weekend gave us another thrilling installment of Championship bocce in Lower Providence. The weather was much chillier than expected, but there was one team who packed enough heat to take down the title…Team Fireball!!

Team Fireball rose from a 7th place regular season finish and were throwing flaming rocks up and down the court, dispatching of all who dared to face them in the Thursday night league. The Dream Team played admirably and worked their way deftly through the ranks of the Wednesday night league. However, Team Fireball proved to be too skilled and are now World Champions, proving once and for all, that only good things can come from drinking spiced whiskey prior to 10 a.m. on the weekends. All Hail the World Champs…Team Fireball!!!

Thank you to everyone for another exciting season. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves. We’ll look to get started back up in March/April and will let everyone know as we get closer.
